Keg Creek is a cool little brewery in Glenwood, Iowa. Only about a 20 minute drive from downtown Omaha, it's convenient to get to but also feels like a quiet spot out of the city and in the country. There's lots of seating inside, and a large patio with tables outside. There's even a beach volleyball court outside, which would be a lot of fun with a group. The bartender was nice, and let us try some beers before deciding on one. They had a great variety, and I really liked the Más Mexican lager and the Wabash wheat. I've also tried their winter break ale in the past, which I really enjoyed. This is a great spot to grab drinks and sit outside on a nice day, and I really enjoyed my visit. This is a great local brewery and definitely worth a visit.

This is a very nice Brewery to relax and enjoy company here. I really enjoy their Brick Red Ale and Más Mexican Style Lager the most. They have a nice selection of hats, glasses, etc to buy. Lots of room to converse with friends or a large group of friends. This would be a nice location for a smaller party possibly especially with the background of the bldg. The girl working the bar was very friendly too.

We wanted to check this brewery out yesterday afternoon. There was a couple of tables full of people, but for the most part it was calm and low-key there. The girl working behind the bar was very friendly, and we had a good conversation with her. They have a large amount of local beers on tap, and they have a large amount of beers to take home. I thought that the growlers and to go items are very reasonably priced.

My husband and I traveling through the area and decided to stop here. They have so many different kinds of beer. This is arrangement of beers did not really suite my husbands desires. I am not a huge beer drinker but I did find one that I enjoyed. The people that work there are also awesome! It was a slower afternoon. A table of four was having a good ol time playing games and drinking. There was a football game on the many TV screens, but fun music playing at the same time. Great prices on beer and other brewery items, beer to go selection was pretty diverse as well and can always get reasonably priced crowlers for anything on draft. We had a couple drinks and then sat and played cards socially distance for a few hours. We headed out when crowds started to come in. We dont live close but glad we got to enjoy their establishment even during these times.

I liked this place. I got there before it opened so that gave me some time to drive around the area and scope out the flood damage that closed parts of I-29. After depressing myself looking at damaged businesses and homes I wondered IF the brewery was going to be open and if so HOW were the people working going to be feeling with all the destruction in the area. Well they opened on time and I got one of the warmest welcomes I have ever got at a brewery. Whenever I travel north or to the coast it doesn't take long for people to realize I'm not from the area given my southern accent. For some folks this is a turn off but for others it's an opportunity meet someone out of their home-zone. These folks were welcoming and the service was top notch. Did a flight of their beers and actually left with a crowler of their apricot wheat beer, which actually tasted like apricots. Their Kashmir Kush, which features Nebraska grown hops was also a standout. The taproom is pretty pimp and I could imagine me heading there regularly to enoy the view off their back patio in good weather. Glenwood is a bit off the beaten path but if you are thirsty and need someone to treat you well, stop in here for some beer!

We stumbled on this place by accident a couple years ago and have been regulars ever since. The Perkelation Coffee Stout is by far my favorite, but I really enjoy the Sharp Street Stout and Moongold Apricot as well. New location has a patio with Cornhole and giant Jenga.

We haven't been to the new location just yet. But the old one (the old filling station) was pretty cool. Jeff (i think that was his name) was super friendly and knew his shit! He gave us the .25 tour that was worth every penny and then some!

For those who like beer, love beer, or find themselves to be beer connoisseurs, you should try Keg Creek Brewery. My husband and I basically stumbled upon this place since one of the brewers/owners of this brewery's wife is our dogs' vet. We needed to pick up some medicines for one of our pups, and she left it in this brewery for us to pick up! Well, we were surely in for a surprise since we couldn't just pick up the medicine for our dog and leave right? Well, we sat down at the bar and my husband automatically chose the Wabash Wheat beer they have. I on the other hand, didn't know what kind of beer to even pick out since I am not much of a beer drinker at all! The brewers at Keg Creek Brewery are so knowledgeable about their stuff, they knew just what kinds of beer to offer me! The only question they asked was if I liked coffee. Well, yes, of course I like coffee I said, so Randy brought me out something in a tiny glass that, to me, really did look like coffee. I tasted it thinking it may be an espresso shot or something, but no! It was their stout beer that tasted really amazing! Who woulda thought I would like that? I sure didn't :) Later on in the evening, I tried their black IPA, which for me is a totally foreign language, but the taste of this beer is totally different from anything I have ever had! Although I can't really compare it to many beers out in society, but I can distinguish the taste of this beer, the beer I tasted just prior to this, and of course bud light :) To me, it tasted like a fruit I have loved for years. The lychee. Of course my husband didn't agree, but to me, I thought it was great! The people who were running the bar tonight were not only spectacular bartenders, but they were also the owners too! They were so helpful and friendly that even if you have never seen them in your life, they would have made you feel as if you were family. The atmosphere at Keg Creek Brewery is also very beautiful! On the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once you step foot inside, it's a totally different story! The bar is made out of a wood top with a shiny lacquer coating that makes it look very clean. The other tables around the bar look very comfortable with soft leather chairs. Not your typical bar I must say. It is very contemporary and clean. Keg Creek Brewery is definitely a must try type of place!
